Meet Bianca.
Hi! I’m Bianca, the artist.
My story, in short, is I am a compassionate person who kept in touch with my childlike, artistic spirit. I moved to San Diego for college (USD ‘23), and have been enjoying this beautiful place since! I have dabbled in many forms of artistic expression throughout my life, but have been a painter since before I could walk. I discovered live event painting while researching for my sister’s wedding in 2022 - and I was sold. To capture the magic of life’s most important moments is a dream, and I am honored to be able to share this experience with others!
I grew up in Riverside, CA. with my four older sisters, parents, and pets. My family was heavily involved in sports growing up, I played soccer for most of my childhood and all my sisters played softball, but I was always known as “the artist of the family”. While this is true amongst my siblings and me, the truth is there are a few artists in the family. I got my talent from my mom (sorry, dad, but it’s the truth), who got it from her dad, my grandpa. I have always felt like my passion for art was an undeniable part of what made me, I like to think my grandpa had that part of him first, and it got passed on to my mom, then to me. In the photo below you’ll see little-me with an easel set up in the living room, painting a scene from my dad’s hometown. My culture and heritage from my parents is an integral part of what makes me who I am. My mom is from a small town in Argentina, and my dad is from the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Being exposed to my parents’ friends and coworkers from many cultures and countries growing up, I developed a deep passion for people. I hope to represent the complexities of what makes us who we are, through my art.
At the end of the day, I just feel so lucky to have the ability to pursue my art. I have discovered how much joy there is to be found in the pursuit of getting better at your craft, and while my art has evolved greatly over the years, a reflection of that same, childlike spirit remains in every piece I have ever made. I would love to bring some of the joy I feel from creating my art to you during your most special moments, if you’ll have me. Thank you for being here!
